Capacity Building of OFSP Decentralized Vine Multipliers and Aggregators in Bauchi State
Access to quality and disease-free Orange Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP) planting materials have been identified as a major challenge to the widespread adoption of OFSP.
To address this concern, our project delivery continues to adopt an integrated approach with self sustaining investments in resilience, productivity, cost-efficiency and nutrition.
Last week, on 19th August 2024, in partnership with CASCADE Nigeria, we trained vine multipliers and aggregators at Jamil Guest Palace in Bauchi State. This is part of our efforts in accelerating the continuous cultivation and consumption of OFSP to address acute malnutrition in Bauchi State towards improving the health and nutritional well-being of young mothers and children under 5.
