The first National Biofortification Recipe Book titled “Biofortified Crops On My Plate” is ready

The official book launch was held on Tuesday, 14th February, 2023 at Signature Hall, Wells Carlton Hotel, 8 Gado Nasko Close, Off Jose Martl Str., Asokoro Abuja.

The book which offers over 50 recipes using vitamin A cassava, vitamin A maize, and vitamin A orange sweet potatoes as the main ingredients, provides practical tips on how to integrate biofortified grains into everyday foods with fascinating insights into Nigerian cultural foods and recipes.

We are glad to be part of the beginning process, in sharing of knowledge, expertise and resources in the development of the recipe book.

This for sure will help bring more nutrition to the plates of families across Nigeria.
